Tomás Federico Stiegwardt is a filmmaker, visual artist, professor, and narrative strategist with over two decades of international practice across cinema, fine arts, and education.
Born in Argentina, his creative practice has unfolded across Buenos Aires, Miami, and New York — absorbing three distinct cultural ecosystems without being defined by any single one.
His academic formation spans three disciplines pursued simultaneously: Design (Universidad de Palermo, full scholarship, GPA 4.0), Fine Arts (IUNA), and Film Direction (Escuela Profesional de Cine Eliseo Subiela, merit scholarship).
He has taught at the New York Film Academy and the Universidad de Palermo, where he leads the research line El camino de la Heroína — eight volumes in collaboration with institutions in Chicago, Madrid, Mexico, Chile, and Brazil.
